Hearth is a membership app for people who want fewer, deeper friendships — built around small circles, earned entry, and structured depth.
Free to join. No spam. Ever.

How it works
Hearth guides your circle through four intentional phases — so connection doesn't stall after the first introduction.
Browse circles by type and apply to the ones that fit your life right now. Entry isn't automatic — you write three sentences about why this circle, why now, and record a 60-second voice intro. The existing members vote within 48 hours. No blank profiles, no bots, no auto-join.

Every week your Host sends a prompt. Something real — not "what's your favorite movie" but "what have you been putting off, and why?" You answer in your own time, read everyone else's, and respond. By month two you'll know more about these people than friends you've had for years.
By month three you're not strangers anymore. Someone proposes something — a Busan weekend, a 30-day writing challenge, a group project. The circle votes, it happens. This is where "online group" becomes something you'll actually remember.
Every shared moment gets captured. Photos from meetups, milestone prompts, inside jokes — they all live in your circle's Memory Room. Months later you scroll back and realize: this became something real.
Circle types
Every circle type is capped by design. Small enough that everyone knows each other.
Six people who know what's actually going on in your life. You talk about the job draining you, the friendship fading, the thing you can't bring up anywhere else. No small talk. Ever.
Built around doing, not just liking. A circle that watches one film every two weeks and actually dissects it. Or runs together. Or builds something. Shared action, not a shared taste.
You moved to a new city six months ago and still have no real group. Or you became a parent and no one in your old life gets it yet. People in your exact moment — not ahead of it, not past it.
Designers, founders, therapists, teachers — people in your field talking candidly about rates, clients, burnout, and what's actually working. Not a LinkedIn group. A real peer room.

Find your circle
Every circle shows you what they're about, who's in it, and what they actually do together — before you apply.
Inside a circle
Each circle has a Chat room, a Meetup planner, a Prompt room for weekly depth questions, and a Memory Room to look back on.

What makes Hearth different
Most apps let anyone in. Hearth doesn't. Every circle is protected by the people already inside it — and anyone who breaks that trust faces a clear, human process.
No one auto-joins. Every applicant writes a 3-sentence intention, records a 60-second voice intro, and waits for the circle to vote. It takes 5 minutes and filters out everyone who isn't serious.
Any member can flag someone. The Guardian reviews and decides. If removed, the person gets a reason — not a mystery. One appeal, handled by a real human within 24 hours.
Pricing
Other apps charge you monthly just to talk to people. We think that's broken. Hearth charges once — when you're ready to commit to a circle. No recurring fees. No paywalls on connection.
Why Hearth
None of them were designed for the specific problem of deepening adult friendships. Hearth is.
