Download Hearth from the App Store, tap "Get Started," and sign up with your email or with Google/Apple Sign-In. You'll be asked to set up your profile and sign the Hearth community pledge before accessing any circles.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a link to set a new password. If you signed up with Google or Apple, you don't have a Hearth password — use that same sign-in method.
Tap the Profile tab (bottom-right), then tap "Edit Profile." You can update your name, photo, bio, and city. Changes save immediately.
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Your account and all associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
If you're unable to access the app, email us at support@eternalmindlabs.xyz with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and we'll process it within 30 days.
Try the password reset flow first (tap "Forgot password?" on the login screen). If that doesn't work, email us at support@eternalmindlabs.xyz with the email address associated with your account and we'll help you recover access.
A Circle is a small, private group of people who have committed to meeting regularly and building genuine friendships. Circles have a maximum size (6 for Depth circles, up to 30 for others) to ensure everyone actually knows each other. Membership is earned — you apply and the existing members vote you in.
There are two ways to join a circle:
After applying, existing members will vote on your application. You'll be notified of the outcome.
Tap the Home tab, then the "+" icon in the top corner. Choose a circle type (Depth, Hobby, Chapter, or Professional), fill in the details, and your circle is created instantly. You'll receive a unique circle code to share with people you'd like to invite.
Open the circle, tap the settings icon, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Leave Circle." You'll be asked to write a brief reason (at least 80 characters) so the circle can understand and improve. Your departure will be noted in the circle's chat.
If you are the circle's Creator, you will need to transfer ownership or delete the circle before leaving.
A Guardian is a trusted member appointed by the Circle Creator to help moderate the group. Guardians can review applications, flag issues, and help schedule meetups. A circle can have multiple Guardians, each with specific permissions set by the Creator.
For regular circles, you can only see messages sent after you joined — this is intentional so that conversations feel current and relevant. For the Hearth Global Circle, all members can see the full message history.
You can send direct messages to members of circles you belong to. Tap a member's name or avatar to view their profile, then tap the "Message" button. You can also access your DM conversations from the Messages tab.
In a circle, tap a member's avatar to open their profile, then use the report option. Your report is sent to the circle's Creator and Guardian for review. For serious safety concerns, also email us directly at support@eternalmindlabs.xyz.
Go to Profile → Notification Preferences. You can toggle the master push notification switch, or control notifications per category: Applications, Direct Messages, Memories, Mentions, and Meetups.
You can also manage notifications at the system level through your iPhone's Settings app under Notifications → Hearth.

Your full profile (bio, city, circles, and message button) is only visible to members of circles you share. Users who don't share a circle with you can only see your first name and profile photo.

Your safety is our priority. Use the in-app report feature to flag the member to your circle's Guardian or Creator. For urgent safety concerns or platform-wide issues, email us immediately at support@eternalmindlabs.xyz and we will investigate and take action promptly.
